Grounded in jazz yet perpetually magnetic to pop and funk, Ollie Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist producer rooting in the U.K. As of late, Ollie’s sound has been woven into the fabric of the UK’s grassroots folk-pop scene, co-writing and producing tracks including, “Hems That Fray” (2026) with Francesca Scott, and “Barricaded” (2026) from Poppy Serenity. At the same time, he’s been tearing into saxophone solos with Manchester’s own Idiot Silver at iconic sold-out venues, such as the historic Holmfirth Picturedrome.

After picking up a saxophone at aged ten, newly unlocked jazz possibilities and a love of orchestral crossover music fused to mould Ollie’s passion for composition and writing for live instrumentation. This early influence remains the groundwork for his ensemble and horn arrangements; skills used at the forefront of his songwriting work. Since entering the recording and production realm at fourteen, Ollie combines a strong innate musicality with creative digital craft, building a wide expertise in the studio. His multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to production is designed to maximise expression, to amplify the artist’s creative voice rather than overshadow it. This is audibly recognised in “Burnt Out” (2025) by Francesca Scott, having earnt recent spins on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Currently, Ollie’s production influences echo the works of Mark Ronson and Quincy Jones, sculptors of groove, who understand feel comes first and polish comes second.
